Rebecca Gillissie has spent her legal career assisting disabled individuals in pursuit of the benefits for which they are entitled; and she approaches every case with passion and dedication. As a founding partner of Wilson & Gillissie, LLC, Rebecca’s primary objective is to ensure that each and every client receives nothing but her best efforts and personal attention.
In addition to her practice, Rebecca is involved in supporting many different causes near and dear to her, including Susan G. Komen for the Cure, The Westside Catholic Center, and Prayers from Maria, an organization dedicated to the eradication of children’s brain cancer. Rebecca also loves to travel, and spend time with her beautiful children, husband and large extended family.
Rebecca graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and later earned her law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. She is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), as well as the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Lorain County Bar Association and the Akron Bar Association.
